Hi All
I have two new TX-44’s. And I am looking for information on the dual action flag system.
I have two Church Walleye boards and have the dual action flag release for both boards.
But for the bigger boards I just have release and pins.
Two questions
Are you able to use the boards effectively without the dual action flags?
AND. If you recommend the flag syestem, where are they available in Canada?
Thank you

Do a google search for homemade tattle flags for Church boards, lots of ideas and a whole less expensive. FYI

Do yourself a favor and change those flimsy plastic pins and make your own out of 1/8" rod.
Watch YouTube for how to vids.

I use flags on my smaller boards as I tend to run bigger rigs and baits on the big boards. I have heard the big baits will constantly pull flag back making it kind of useless. I guess if your running smaller baits of run a heavier spring you might be able to make it work but they are affective without once you use them for a bit you'll learn how they run in the water and will notice the changes with they are fouled or have a fish.

I would ask the question on the big lake forums as they are full of info on them. So if posting the names of the other boards is worng but delete if so, lake ontario united, spoonpullers or Channel 68.

The bigger baits definitely pull the flags all the way down on the offshore boards. I have a small pouch of springs I can swap out to heavier ones to fix that but most times I dont
