Any idea if there is any ice at Finkles in Bath yet.
I’ve seen this website (https://www.glerl.noaa.gov/res/glcfs/an ... thk&type=f) fail me before which is why I ask.

Thanks

On Sunday I drove along hwy 33 from Amherstview to Adolphustown and the north channel was 90% ice covered with only the odd patch of open water but the NE wind blew all night and the channel is largely open with lots of ice drifting about.

Is the launch froze now or can you still get a boat in?

Was there two days ago. You can launch but your not going any further then 20 yards from ramp till you hit ice. Iced from there out to the middle where there were open trenches and then ice again partway past there to the Amherst island shoreline. Gap was open with ice patches halfway in might be covered by now but definitely not fishable with a boat anymore.
