Trent river ice?

Seen a few huts out from the launch,just wondering if anyone has a general thickness report.

Mobb, I've been out daily for the last week...and have punched holes from in front of the launch to the second red can. Thickness varies but the thinnest I have encountered is about 4 inches, but black, and the thickest was upwards of 10 inches, again black. In general, it gets thicker the further out into the bay you go. Saw a snowmobile leave from the launch yesterday.

Obviously, with it being a river with a current i still wear my safety gear and spud my way around every time.
