Went with good buddy Ed in that sea of huts. Ed got 6 and I got 5. Sounds like a good day but should of been way more but the fish were mostly just looking. The bulk of them were 2 lbers but got one over 7 and Ed got one close to 9. Buckshot, vibrato and freedom baits did most of the work.

We kept our baits 3-5ft off bottom and did everything from aggressive big rips, quick shorts jiggles to dead sticking. Just got lucky

We were finding they were only interested in a long pause after a single medium jig up the 2 times we got out. We were only about 1’ up off bottom though, so less aggressive fish down there.
