Went to Hay Bay at Thompson Point on Feb 23. Some firm bits but some slush patches as bad as I've ever seen: 12 inch total depth with 6 inches of snow over 6 inches of slush, Doubtful if the upcoming colder nights will freeze that stuff up. Nine inches of solid ice under all the crap (at least where I was) but that's going to get thinner in the next few days. I caught a few small perch and no wallys. I slogged about 600 m dragging a smitty sled but I was too tired to drag the thing further.
