They didn’t name boat launches specifically so let’s hope the municipality’s don’t lock them down

Police can now stop you and ask you were you are going if they feel it’s non essential your ticketed regardless if the boat launch is open or not be carful

I guess that the real question here is "what are we allowed to leave the house for?" What is the province considering as essential?
And from what I have found online is there is no answer. The government is saying "it is the sole responsibility of the individual" to decide.
?????????????????????????????????????????????????
How can they inforce this ?
How is this helping any of us?
Anyways....

Kinda hard to get to a boat launch with a "necessary travel, stay at home order"......just sayin'...... 8)

Outdoor activities are still encourage for health reason, and playgrounds are now open. As long as you go from your house to the boat launch with a close family member, have a great fish, than back on the trailer and straight home, than I can't see any contact. I should also state that you should not be coming from a hot spot to a controlled area ie GTA area to Quinte . Kingston area to Quinte IMO should be ok as we are fairly close and our areas are not that bad. Be Safe.

Believe we saw/heard on the 6 pm news tonight that several police forces would NOT stop and ask, etc.

Good for them! A Police State is NOT what we need, just compliance from all concerned.

Being a stickler for fine print, stopping a vehicle pulling a boat trailer isn't a "random stop".

It's grounds for an officer to reasonably suspect that the operator may be in "non-compliance", which is still a permitted stop. Depends on the officer.

Example, a RIDE which is allowed is a random stop. A guy weaving down the road isn't.

The other point is that enforcement can be based on the seriousness of the problem. If the covid numbers get worse and it's attributed to people travelling here from, "hot spots" then I wouldn't imagine the enforcement efforts would increase.

Have to wait and see how it goes.

Not a problem for me, I'm going to stay home and wait until the lockdown is over. Hopefully, we all keep well.
