I haven't decided Where, What or When this weekend for the opener but just wanted to say good luck to those who are able to get out. Be safe and make sure you have all your safety gear up to date. In past years the OPP/MNR were all to happy to write you up a ticket and I suspect they will be out making the rounds.

My thoughts exactly Dan, all the best to those who make it out on soft water.

It could be kinda cool, so wear your woolies and PFD's.

We're hoping for sometime the week of the 16th, hope there is some water to put in the dock and launch the boat.

Yes Good luck to all.
Be careful and watch out for the other boaters who may not be totally focused with all the issues of the days.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures

I called a few marina's about using their boat launch and they said there is still a stay home order and no one is allowed on the water. but yet the Lions Club launch in Gananoque said they would be open. wish the hell someone could get it straight. the stay home order is on until May 19th. Im pissed.

Fish Addict,

If you are not travelling to Gan from a hot area and are following covid guidelines you should be good to go. Fishing is still an approved recreation as long as you can find an open ramp, government or private.
