Hello all, I was wondering if anybody had any success around Sherman's or down in Hay Bay since the opener. I have been out 3 times and so far have only been able to pick up some fish in the mouth of the Napanee River. Haven't seen anything about Hay Bay. I thought this was a little strange. Goi g to to go out again tomorrow maybe I will give it a shot.

Hello, on opener I made it out only got a little pike at Sherman's and made it into ram island and got a nice 4.7lbs walleye. I was getting a lot of marks around the 25 to 30 ft range.
Went out before opener for a little perch fish walleye were seen shallow still. Windy cold snap Friday night flipped the lake and walleye seemed to go deep to warmer water.

Hey, super dad thanks for the report! I went out today with my father we started in the river and fished there from 6:30 to 10:30 caught 3 walleye, a bass, and a sheepy. My Dad had to go home for noon so I dropped him at the dock in Des and made the run to Bayview made three passes and picked up another walleye my biggest of the season so far no scale but I would say it was around 4lbs winds started picking up so I headed back to the ramp. Nice day to be on the water. Also thanks to reellocalfishing I did notice boats fishing deeper today.

Hey no problem, worked out deep today with a spinner rig and bottom bouncer and got a couple nice eaters (17inchers) around 30 feet deep were hitting good then just couldn't get past the perch.
