I've never heard of steelhead caught or any stocking there.

Have caught 1 incidental steelhead in that area but not the creek and that was 7-8 yrs ago. When the time is right you can find them in a few runs below #1 dam on the Trent. Not a heavy presence there but they have been caught over the years. If you are looking at a time frame it is usually before the river goes into a sanctuary for April.

We caught a 7.25lb Bow, trolling opening weekend in 2007 in front of the cement plant with a spoon(alpena diamond to be precise)

While walking in the Conservation area near the bridge at Wallbridge Loyalist, I've seen some rainbow there in the past but nothing consistently.

It really puzzles me that they (and the Salmon) aren't around in any numbers but every creek west of Brighton has a pretty decent run. Maybe these fish all go to the south side. I have caught more Brown Trout than Bows, and i fish a lot

Yes but east of Brighton in order to get to a lot of these rivers and creek they need to either venture through the Murray Canal or come up the Reach and past Adolphus to hit the tribs.
