Launched at Sherman's Point with my brother in-law at 1 pm, rough water, and fished till 4:30 pm. Fished mostly in front of Rams Island. Total 13 walleye, 20 perch, 11 white fish, 1 pike, 1 sun fish. Really good bite at 3 pm, and it was nice to limit out. Going to try Sunday and hope for another great day.

Sounds like the fish from Middle Hay Bay have moved west, it was a good bite yesterday in front of Bayview on Hay Bay. Nice fish caught between 19-21 inches.

Remember all those 12 inchers two years ago???? They've grown.

Congrats, and seems like the fishing is heating up with the water temps coming up.

We caught 14 there this morning. Bottom bouncer worm harness. And after we filled our limit trolling tried jigging with bucktails and a big wack of worm on it. And upgraded 3 of our keepers doing that. It was a great morning. Heading back out this afternoon

Tried Sunday morning, and it was the same. Limit out in a few hours, caught 9 total. Talked with a few others and it seems they limit out as well. About 20 boats in front of Rams island.
Best bite will be this afternoon from 1630 to 1830, with higher winds.

I wouldn't advertise going out again after catching your limit. I could be wrong but is it not illegal?

Bigbassin, you are only allowed to keep 4 per day whether or not you consume them. That's how I read the regs, no different that hunting limits.

Yes and also read the general possession part of the rega. Even tho you have a limit of fish are you to just stop fishing no. You are then able to cull if the fish is alive enough to swim away freely. And you are allow to continue fishing as sport with live release immediately. Hence why I went out fishing again. And continued to fish. As well in our second trip. We had 2 others in the boat and. Well we didn’t even get anymore but that isn’t the point I am trying to make here. I guess I should of wrote out a bigger paragraph when I posted first

You can posses 6 I believe. Just cannot keep them all from same day.

Always have ONE less than the limit, cull at will and when the limit filled, stop fishing.
