We hit the water this morning at 7am. Fished just pure deep water. 3 of us in the boat. 2 running Mepps spinners with a keel sinkers. And 1 crank on the boards. Let’s just say after 4 hours after the crank didn’t produce absolutely nothing and 6 good keepers in the boat we switched up the crank to a harness with a bouncer. And than it started. Fished until 1. Caught 10 keepers all together. Between 2 and 3 pounds. Nothing big. All fish were caught between 18’-38’. All fish were suspended. Chasing bait. We would mark big groups of bait and by time the lines got there normally it was fish on.

The mepps one was a number 4 bronze the other was a number 3 bronze with a orange tip. The harness was a Northland tackle that done the trick today

Great report Nick. Good to hear they’re still around, I did pretty good there last weekend.
