After spending 20+ years living by and fishing on my beloved Bay of Quinte, circumstances of life have led me to reside on Van. Island and I
must say, it is a part of Canada I find is growing on me, though I thought it never would due to missing Ont. so much.
Today, it,s 12:50 pm Sat., sun is shining, moths are flying past the kitchen
window and it,s 10 above.
Plenty of jobs for those who really want one. I,m a carpenter.
Real estate is very affordable up island from Victoria.
Salmon, groundfish, crab and prawning to mention but a few types of fishing one can do on a budget.
It,s a whole new world of angling opportunities just a 4 day car drive from where you,re probably at right now!
So hurry up all you fishing freaks and move out here!
