New PB for a friend

Took this young man (Belleville Bulls Fans will know him as the Cymbals man) to the St.lawrence on Sunday. Hit a few spots but the bite was slow. Moved on to the next spot and the screen was lit like a Xmas tree. Started catching fish and even had a couple double headers. The fish were deeper between 25-45 ft and sitting out front of a shoal. On the last double header his fish was taking drag pretty good and we were starting to doubt it was bass but lo and behold his new personal best of a bass at 6.01lbs. Came on a Set The Hook crush worm in goby pearl. Good day on the water

Hoo boy, Flashback time:

Reminds us of a time while we were still editor of a small-town weekly paper.

We referred to a beautiful Fish like that one as a 'Real Hog'..., and got a real earful from the Guy's Wife becuz we insulted her Husband's Fish!
