Pike with my Godson

Successful afternoon out from Waupoos. He got his 1st pike ever, a 9 lb..."with" this .... shad ?? ....half way down it's gullet. It was 15" long....what is it ?? Saw NO other boats ?? The pike we got were all over 33". 5 Diamonds mostly. Most in 15 - 20 ft...but got some in shallow....6'. All swam away.

I would go with HERRING(CISCO) going by the jaw
Nice when you can fish with the younger ones in the family.

If that is a herring...and it does look like one...it's the biggest I've seen.
