Quinte Fishing

Fished from 8:30 till the wind kicked up around 1:30. We ended up with 2 fish both 26.5 and a drum. Trolling spotted of 1.5-1.8 baits placed 25-35' down. Heck of a lot of boats out fishing JBs tournament. I don't know how many were in but at one point I counted 40 boats trolling aldophus . The water temp only dropped 1 degree since last Saturday but that should drop quicker the forecast is showing some cold weather moving in. Almost time to start bringing the sand for the boat ramp. 40 boats in November that's insane...or the fishermen are...hehe

We fished this weekend and never saw another boat on the water. Brought more than 40 Walleye and Smallies to the side of the boat. No big golden girls like down on the Reach, but a lot of non-stop fun and some good eating.

Not saying one is better than the other (Quinte vs. more remote back-country lakes)...just how diverse our fishing culture is...and what we'll do to get our fix...
