Launched out of Deseronto for a half day fish. I was suprised to find the dock still in the water. We started trolling at the hydro lines and worked up and into haybay then over to thompson and back to deseronto. Went 1/2 with a 9.4lb eye that was short but chunky. It bit a clown DHJ12 set back 175'. The water temp ranged from 34-36 Back at the ramp pulling out spoke with a boat that had been jigging at thompson and they boated 40 eyes with most about 21-22" with jigs and minnows.

I wondered when someone would be jigging at Thompson's. Glad to know they're back or still there.

Thanks for sharing Dan, it sounds as though the fish are back in Long Reach.

Thanks for the post and sharing, Dan.

If only the boat wasn't getting winterized today...

Thanks for the report Dan. Nice that you caught one. It looks like boat fishing will go on for a while yet

Hey Trophycraft,
i agree I think there will be more soft water opportunities yet before the boat is winterized.
