I can't imagine the fight that would give considering I've fought a few 30 lb'ers off the bluffs! Wow!

There are several photos of this fish on-line..I don't have permission to cut and paste.

Plenty of monsters in Rivers Inlet. We stayed at Legacy Lodge 4 years ago...biggest in our group was a 47 lb. King caught by my 15 year old nephew. That was a hog...I can't imagine 105 lbs.

Even though possession limits in those waters are quite restrictive...We all brought home enough Salmon, Halibut , Ling Cod and Rock Fish to keep us in fish dinners for the next year....my cooler alone weighed in at over 100 lbs of fillets. Needless to say the over limit baggage fees I paid to Air Canada were well worth it.

Might have been us. We landed a 51 lb chinook this summer just south of Bella Bella (north of Rivers Inlet). Trip of a lifetime and fish of a lifetime. If I could figure out how to post a photo on here I'd share it.

I was on a private boat... a friend who lives in Vancouver. He boated up and I took a float plane. We stayed at Shearwater on Denby Island. Beautiful part of the world, and if you're a fisherman even more so.

Bobber...I agree. This is the 47lb...that 105 certainly doesn't look twice as big. Although there seems to be a bunch of folks that confirm the measurements are correct...who knows ??
