Many area of the bay in Belleville has a skin of ice on it with lots of open water in the main current areas. This forecast looks promising. Fingers crossed

I've been glued to the weather for a week now.

Hoping for good ice so I can do some exploring.

Also watching my oil tank run down. Switching to propane and a heat pump on Thursday. Going to be real close.

Fingers crossed on both.

I've seen several videos of ice fishing north ( I would guess) of the 401 and catching some nice eyes on a Rapala Slab Rap.

We had our annual ice fishing trip to Baycrest cancelled for the second year in a row due to the up coming lockdown. Better to be safe than sorry.
