Quinte Fishing

Hey boys I just got back from Huff’s, I had all my gear and bought minnows and saw there were 3-4 huts out there so I was pretty optimistic I would get fishing. I started out and only made it about 50 yards! Spud went thru first crack! Went off to the side a bit and this time it took one hit plus a little bit of a second one! Needless to say I turned around and went home! The guys out there are crazier than me lol. If you go SPUD your way out! I’ll wait another week!

Orange floater suit with what looked like a blue clam? Ice was a little over 3" in the hole that I measured but it was real sketchy just out from the launch where you turned around. You didn't miss much if it makes you feel any better.

Yes that was me, the thought crossed my mind that it might get better out further but didn’t want to chance it as I went thru a few years back! Hoping to get out soon, nothing like setting the hook on a big girl!! Cheers and good luck!
