Hey everyone we are hoping to do our spring family fishing trip again this year, we typically just target walleye, we will have some younger anglers (7-8yr old) with us this year. Just wondering if there is anywhere around the HayBay area to target some crappie to keep the younger ones engaged

Fishermen will tell you walleye honey holes, or bass hot spots, BUT nobody tells anyone their crappie heavens.

That's seems to be the holy grail if fishing spots

My wife caught a nice one last spring, near Kingscourt Weedbed on Hay Bay. It was delicious.....

That's why everyone wants them.

As a guy who has done a ton of dock fishing in hay bay there are a few docks with deeper water that hold crappie. Also the area at the mough of the little creek will hold them from time to time. There are tons of them and they are big
