I got a rental 2nd week of Feb. on Telegraph Narrow (County Shores). Any idea what I can expect for Ice conditions in that area? The plan is to Quad in that area and back towards Big Bay. Thanks for any information.

Can't help you haven't been that way and County Sites didn't ken up their parking lot this year so might not get any responses. If the ice is good there you might not need to come back to big bay. Lots of good spots near there

If your not aware, the actual Telegraph Narrows (going towards the lighthouse) is a dangerous spot due to currents and inconsistent ice thickness.

Be very careful if your venturing towards the narrows.

I agree with Roblin. Telegraph Narrows and the north side of Foresters Island (off Deseronto) are two of the most dangerous areas in the eastern part of the B of Q. These areas can have strong currents that give rise to big differences in ice thickness over very short distances. Be careful !!!
