So as the title says I'm going to take my little guy out for his first ice adventure. Truly looking for perch of any size just to keep him interested. We are walkers and when I go normally I just giver to wherever that being said I don't overly feel like walking a mile in the snow for him to be ready to pack it in after a hour although I don't think that will be the case. Where in your guys opinion is my best walking option for this. Thanks in advance

I would say Potters or Point Anne. Don't have to go far to get into perch which would keep your boy busy.

Regards

Out Sherman’s point boat launch go to the right slightly. You’ll have lots of ice. And could land on a stack of jumbo perch. Or end up slaying a few good walleye at the right time. Only need to get out 150’ yards 200 max to be in 18+ feet of water. Usually a pretty good packed trail there

Well thanks everyone for all the replies . Had a great day out with the boy my wife and niece and best buddy.. ended up out of duffrin rd in trenton as it's been pretty packed down from all the sleds and such. Great day tones of ice . 2 keeper jumbo lots of dinks to keep him interested. I tried to upload the pictures but I'm not having any luck. Again thanks all for the replies . Hope everyone has some luck this weekend.
