Quinte Fishing

Went to Potters today and spent 3 hrs. this afternoon. Not much happening and not many fishers around. Wilkie looked like a few there as I looked from Potters but not sure if people were in the permies. Back to what was at Potters. There was one hub and no open-air fishers when I arrived, so that was a grand total of two when leaving there was another hub but the first hub was already gone. Fish were almost as scarce at least for me, 2 perch up the hole and sent back with many players below according to the Vex, marked 1 cruiser at 5:00 pm at 8 feet in the water column while I was fishing in 14'.

Same story for us out of Wilkie the over the weekend… a couple perch up the hole, a fair few investigating, and nothing else.

The permanent huts have been pretty busy at Wilkie, but no one is catching anything save a cold.


Hope others are finding fish somewhere at least, but it’s been a heck of a bad winter fishing for us.
