Hi I am looking to head down to bay of quinte for the first time for an overnight trip on Thursday hoping the Wednesday rain doesn’t do too much harm. Was wondering which places would have best parking access and safest ice. Was looking at potter and Sherman’s point but any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

Herchimer boat launch has bait up the street and lots of parking. Ice is typically good there too, but who knows what the warm temps and rain will do to it, especially further out in the current. Can fish closer to shore and still get into reasonable depths.

Another suggestion is big bay which you can access from pt anne rd. Lots of parking. Ice is 12" plus and it's a big area so one can move around. There are always fish there however the fishing has been slow.

Where’s the water access from point ann road? Don’t see it on the map

Take pt anne rd to the stop sign then turn left and follow it to the end. Its beside the lafarge cement plant.
