Had another frustrating but great day on the ice with Hans and Ed chasing Lakers. The fish were moving in small packs and quite willing to bite. For me the problem was keeping them on the hook. Lost some on the hook up and others half way through the fight, frustrating.... however did manage to ice a solid fish.as Ed iced a few and Hans put on a clinic ending the day with a16 lb natural with all its fins. There had to be more huts out there than i have ever seen. Be careful on the ice in tge area next to the gap its going to get eaten by the rain and high winds today.

Nice fish Dan. I looked at the sea of huts and opted to walk out around ten instead of lining up for the ferry at 5 AM! I parked down by the hydro plant and walked out from there for a few hours. A few lookers but no hits. Could of been eyes as we were in 50-70 FOW. I bet 200 yards of ice disappeared while I was there and your right winds should open it up around there in next few days. May have to hit the Ganny this week! Did you get my e mail?
