Gents, For the life of me I cant find anything online that descriptively identifies the specific boundary lines for zone 20.... I am trying to find a detailed image or resource that shows on a map, and that is obviously credible, that shows how far the BOQ is considered zone 20 with respect to not contravening fishing in a different zone that has a closed season. How far up the Trent/Napanee/Moira rivers etc is the cut off point for zone 20? Any info or direction would be appreciated.

Cheers and tight lines!

Go to the link below and click on where it says "Legal Boundary Map"... There's a PDF map with the exact boundaries including individual tributaries...right down to streets, bridges, locks...

Thanks Crowman. Hadn't seen these maps before. Good stuff.

Too bad it doesn't answer that question that pops up occasionally about fishing two lines in Hay Bay.

How hard is it for people to comprehend EAST or WEST of Glenora ferry.

That's what I would have thought. Didn't look at the post date, maybe there was some leg pulling.

The 2 rods east/west of Glenora Ferry is a far more complicated question than indicated here. Hay Bay is east of the Glenora Ferry, as is the mouth of the Napanee River, and technically the Deseronto launch (slightly) if you look longitudinally. A MNR rep told me over the phone that these areas lay east of the Glenora Ferry and are eligible for two rods, even though most here would dispute it. So it is tricky. I think the "east of" language is specially in reference to Adolphus Reach (excluding 2 rods everywhere else) but it could be clearer.

I'd like to know which OMNR employee that was...because they has no common sense.
The exception to the regulations is to allow uniform trolling practices on the "big" water of the Great Lakes...particularly for the charter industry...and to match up with US side. There's all kinds of water "east" of the ferry...doesn't mean the exception applies.
You could argue it in front of a Judge/Justice of the Peace but they'd just laugh their way to a fine.
