Had the pleasure of fishing with Hans on Saturday. The morning was beautiful with just a touch of fog on the water. With the low winds it was perfect to jig up some lakers. I've never got them on a jig or casted for them so always open to trying new things. We tried a couple spots with no luck so decided to switch over and troll for a bit and with in moments Hans had a fish and then another and then I had one too. If we had stuck to the trolling game we would of easily caught a dozen fish and more but I wanted to try the jig bite so we switched back to casting jigs. Hans caught a few more and then finally I got my first on a jig. We were fishing any where from 45-65' so heavy jigs and some plastic. The hit is like your snagged at 1st and takes some getting used to feeling the jig that deep. Hans got one on the jig that had a pretty beat up jaw from rooting around on bottom looking for gobbies in and around the rocks and zebra mussels. See the picture. Looking forward to doing some more and getting it dialed in. Thanks Hans for a good day on the water

Great report! Was hoping to get out yesterday too but covid got in the way with childcare so no go. Keep ‘em coming!

Thank you Dan for bringing your boat! It certainly was nice to cruise around at 65 mph compared to the 30 I'm used to!
The cast bite can be tough at times to say the least but sooo rewarding when hooking up.
