The day started windy and it was a bumpy ride out from Finkles. We stayed in the gap... didn't want to get stuck out further in my 16 ft. boat if the weather picked up. Got into fish near the south red marker. Mostly around 45ft on bottom, downriggers. Dodger/spin 'n' glo was the lucky combo. All fish around 11-12 lbs. Water surface temp 38. Wind died down and the bugs appeared, but a beautiful morning on the water. Saw about a dozen boats total all morning. Would love to hear how the others made out.

Good luck out there.

Mac

I talked with a chap from Quebec in Kingston this afternoon at LCBO and asked how his fishing was.

RIEN - Nothing , tried up, down everywhere with everything.

Gonna try tomorrow

Congrats on the fish! We fished a few hours in the afternoon, saw two netted but not in our boat lol. What do you pull behind the glo.? A minnow?

Nothing behind the spin n glo. Usually run a single 1 1/4" or two of the smaller ones together. Fluorocarbon leader about 24" behind dodger, cowbells, agitator etc...

Since the water has been so clear I have been running it further back from the clip.

Good luck out there. You'll find them. I hope to get out again next week.
