Haven’t back to Trenton for so long and would like to bring my small kayak to do some fishing.
I remember there are public Launch at Nicholas street, and centennial park near the arena still there? Is that lots of current and make danger for a small kayak. When I was there years ago and not much current and don’t know the latest condition now.

Thanks in advance for your advise!

If you are familiar with the kayak and comfortable I feel that the current is not an issue. Yes, there is current and if you are heading to the rapid area of #1 dam the water is swift and questionable. If you are looking into fishing the main part of the river I would say "Have at it" just saying.
