Went out of Brighton Saturday morning and headed west to the cement factory. Started trolling there in 80 to 90 feet of water. One rigger was at 70 feet the other at 55. I picked up two as I was heading west to the main group about 3 to 5 miles over. Both were caught on sliders. One was a candy corn and the other a similar pattern with green but not sure of the nick name. Hit the main group and had 2 knock offs with no luck. Saw some other guys picking them up but all the ones I saw were on dipsy divers or torpedo divers. Lots of guys using green. Tried several different things but no luck including lures, height change but nothing. Both chinooks I got were under 5 lbs. Perfect for the smoker. Hope this helps anyone looking for them.

One quick question. Were you west of Netty's Patch, the Camel Shoal or the Mulcaster Patch?
The only cement plant I am aware of is west of Port Hope.

Hi. Sorry, I want to apologize for the confusion. I thought it was a (the) cement plant. It looks like a gravel pit or something on google earth. It is between Victoria beach and Lakeport on Google earth. So I would not have gone any farther over than Cobourg. I am not sure where those areas are that you mention as I don't know the area very well. From the gravel pit or what ever it is I trolled for about 2. 5 hours at about 2.5 miles per hour. If you can let me know if I crossed those areas it would help me learn the areas better. Thanks for asking the question. I don't like giving out wrong information. I just did a quick google earth measurement and it looks like the farthest I would have gone over would be around Shelter Valley Creek area if that makes any sense. Again my apologies for the wrong info.

All those spots are labeled here if you zoom in:

Sounds like you got as far as Mulcaster but nearer shore.
