Perhaps I just travel too much and am around fishing related information too much for my own good.

If you want the greatest odds, greatest range of species, best possibility at large fish.... there is no real challenge. If you have even remotely done your homework, you will do your fishing report regarding the Bay of Quinte. Nippissing has its place, but the Bay of Quinte remains in a class of its own....and growing when one factors in the multiple strong classes of bass to help balance out the walleye.

Just having some "serious" fishing related fun....from 3800 km away.

My choice would be Qunte.I have fished both but if the wind picks up on Nippissing sometimes you can not get out .I have been at Nippissing for a whole weekend and not been able to get out.My 18 foot Lund is no match for Nippissing when it is rough.

The nice thing about the Bay of Quinte is one can lauch their boat at different locations depending on the weather conditions. You can tuck in the Napanee River and many areas offer good protection from the high waves. See you in the BOQ.Mike Hamilton
