Spotted a fireball to the west at 9:27 if anyone has a camera pointed that way.

I fish at night a lot,sometimes really late. I have seen some strange things in the skys. That James Webb Telescope shows some amazing things.

Last weekend the Aurora Borealis put on a spectacular show up here in Central Frontenac. Apparently, there was a huge solar flare that caused the Northern Lights to be viewed much further south than usual. This photo is just from a cell phone camera...in person, the colours and intensity of the display were a flashback to my trippin' days back in the early '70's.

The annual Persied Meteor Shower peaks around August 12th...you should see a meteor almost every minute on a clear night away from urban lights.
