Hello, Its been a few years but my whole family is returning to Greenpoint for the last week of this month. I got a new to me Striper 2101 this year and was really looking forward to having a bigger boat there,,, BUT, the stator went on the motor and parts aren't available until next month. So, I'm bringing my back up 16' Naden.
How is the fishing around Greenpoint? Any help is appreciated. My son and son in law would have a blast catching anything edible!

Wow ! I'm certainly disappointed. 797 views and not 1 comment.

Nobody is saying any thing about any where in BOQ for the last couple weeks.

Fish are taking in some places.

Stay Tuned

Not much to say here other than I fish the BOQ usually only during the ice. Do not think that my info will help much.

Sorry, missed your post.

Have been out a couple of times on the Reach in the last week and nothing to speak of, a few pearch.

Talked to a few of the old guy's and they're saying the late evening, night time fish is good. Don't know where.

Didn't pick up any spiny water fleas last week.

We fished Saturday AM from 0745-1045 in Hay Bay. Landed 9 eyes, PerfectlyPat had a perfect 4 fish limit, all four were over 20 inches and totaled 12 lbs. We have fish for a fishfry for our grandsons this week.

All fish caught in the weeds with the Superdad Super Swing Spinner.

A buddy has been getting them on a jig and on spinners on weedlines in under 10' and all are big fish.

I haven't been out to green point but I've been doing "ok" in the big bay area using Eerie Deeries trolled at 1.4-1.8 mph in 12-15 feet of water. Mostly big island shoal, wagers farm, trident point and point anne but also decent luck near the northport shoal.
