Quinte Fishing

Hi all. My name is Matt and I’m new to the discussion board. Can anyone tell me what water temps generally prompt the walleye to start moving into the bay from the main lake? Fished the bay last week and no walleye found. I’m located near the napanee river and have travelled as far as the reach in search of fish with little luck. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

We got a couple of 20"ers last evening casting the edge of shoals in the Bay. But I'm guessing you're after the big ones....

More curious when the main migration of fish will eventually start. I know water temps are a key factor.
After last week’s dismal performance any hints would help.

November is usually a good bet

Too early to be concerned about water temps,I don't the turnover has started and like Dan said, November might be better.

The fish have changed and aren't coming in until much later and I think they aren't getting into the normal November spots like they did about 5 - 6 years ago.
