Happens every year lucky enough they were to be able to get off the ice, but goes to show people see videos on Facebook and social media last week ice fishing on the bay. Stupidity at its finest. “They did it so everyone else thinks they can too” We haven’t had any cold snaps or solid cold weather.

And some would consider these fools brave for venturing out...No, the one's who rescue them are brave! I hope they're stuck with the bill for the services of the recue.

Question. If they have to rescue you off the ice ,do they let you bring your stuff with you? Or is it left on the ice?

It was left out there they were told I believe we rescue people not gear! They did get a 12 foot tinbanger and went back out an hour later and got all there gear! I know of them through a mutual buddy
