Met with 3 others and walked out to the main channel. The ice on top is dry and no slush. Any black spots or old holes are one hit with the spud and thru. About half a km found 8" grey ice. In the main channel where I was it was 5-6". Saw a couple sleds and a few ATVs. Only marked 5 fish and lost a 2lber at the hole. Pretty slow
