Its been a crazy busy spring for me and I havent been able to get out for any walleyes until yesterday. We launched In Deseronto and after a short run we set lines and almost immediately a flag dropped on the boards. We were both a bit rusty and by the time Ken figured out how his drag worked the flag was standing again and fish gone but it was a good sign. A coffee later and we had the 1st fish in the boat. On the day we went 16/22. The screen on the fishfinder was loaded from top to bottom for much of the time. Harnesses and boards was what worked for us. Biggest on the day was 6.76 and the overall average size was 3-4lbs. The weather was nice the winds were low from the NE but the fish didnt care. Looking forward to getting out again soon.

Wow, that's a great day. Were you running the harnesses off tadpoles?

Great fish and congrats.

Still hoping to get out before the bite lessens.

The lilacs are blooming but may end soon. ;-)

I use the precision trolling app in conjunction with watching the fishfinder to select a target depth. The weight to get to the target depth can be tadpoles, inline weights or snap weights.

Legacy, get out there the lilacs are almost done for the easy fishing
