I know there has been a few 7 lbers caught. I caught this one a few days ago and sadly didn't have a scale. Would definitely be in my top 3 biggest largemouth caught. I am pretty good at guessing weights and would say it was probably about 5.5 to 6 lbs. I didn't wanna hold it up by the jaw as I am somewhat paranoid about doing that to big fish. You can't see the girth on it from my photo but it was fat as heck like it had already been feeding for the winter. Definitely didn't expect this fish as I was in 3 feet of water in a spot I usually take friends to catch numbers of small bass. My ultimate goal is a 7 lb bay of quinte largemouth

Thats a great fish! Im not surprised you caught it so shallow. In the last QFS tournament the weights were way up with 3 or 4 bags over 20 and shallow bite was on. Congrats on a nice fish
