During the FMZ20 catch and release season for Bass is it legal to take a quick photo of the fish before releasing ? Someone told me the reg's were modified this year after that survey the OMNR did, but I don't see anything.
A liitle confusing...as for example, Lac Seul in NW Ontario is completely c & r for all Muskie (all the time, any size), yet there are plenty of photos on-line from lodges and guides.

Still illegal, change coming in 2025 to allow for photo/measurement

Go pro video would be legal, but can't weight them.
It's become a huge guiding business for both Canadian and American guides...

I highly doubt the regulations change.. I know they don't want paper tournaments to be a thing.

Running from American side would they not need to possess a Canadian license because I’m sure they did not have one?

"Posing" with the fish is not " immediate release". I just don't understand why people can't respect the C&R season and put away their cameras...but I guess profit and ego is a bigger motivation than ethics.
