Quinte Fishing

Chinook salmon are being caught off the Wellington government dock at Belleville Street. Claude Delisle of Bloomfield hooked into two in half an hour on Wednesday. One broke off the other estimated at 25lbs was landed and identified as having been reared and released at the Wellington dock four years ago.

was down there on the weekend and fished the boat channel by the lighthouse, I had a nice salmon give a good chase to my crankbait but he didn't take it, just chased it to shore and swam away, they are definately there!!
