Quinte Fishing

Went out after work for a short fish with the sled. Lot was pretty busy but not as busy as it can be. When you pull into the parking lot the first section on the left usually folks park beside each other like a regular parking lot. Yesterday 3 trucks parked sideways or pointing their trucks north to south effectively eliminating a whole bunch of spots in that first section. Hopefully as the season gets busier they will figure it out. I have heard of folks getting their trucks keyed for parking like that in the past. As for the fishing it was all perchville for me. Never even saw a walleye on the livescope. The ice was 10 inches plus where i was. Be safe and watch out for the small pockets of open water over near trident
