Taking a couple guys out both for 1 st time. Picked a miserable day, as I sit here there is 2 inches of wateron the ice, the wind is howling and it's pouring rain. Finally got both guys set up, showed him how to read the flasher, couple jigging tips ect then finally sit down in my hut and picking out a couple lures but can't see because the glasses are fogged up. I take them off and reach to put them in the ceiling hammock and they slip out of my hand and down the hole! :o I dove for them shooting my whole arm down the hole and by miracle save them but sent my tackle box flying and lures everywhere. Donated a couple down the hole.

Holy Moly Dan!!! Obviously not a "Good Day"!!! At least you saved your glasses!! Sometimes you have to look on the positive side which would be Taking 2 new fishermen out and teaching them what to do!!! You did a wonderful thing and they will never forget you for it!!!! I say "Well Done"!!! Cheers Howie

Well made it home alive lol and soaked to the bone. It was total perchville on the livescope. The perch were so comfortable the whole school was following the bait all the way up to the hole and just hanging out mid water column. Never saw a walleye. Hung everything out to dry including the hut in the garage and next time will pass on that kinda weather. You're right Superdad, a warm bevie and maybe a fishing show. We will see if the 1st timers recover or not before I put the positive outlook on it or not lmao

I have been there. Somewhere there is a fish listening to my phone conversation using one of my ear buds.
