Went fishing on Monday afternoon about 3 pm 'til dusk.  I went out from Sherman's point launch.  The ice was clear as glass and a very slippery  walk even with cleats. There was a pair of skaters out there making good use of the clear ice.   I walked out about half way across SSW from the launch toward Witlow's point. The ice was 8 to 10 inches thick where I drilled and set up .I caught 3 or 4 perch but no wally's.
On the drive down River road from Napanee I saw a few pop ups off Deseronto. I stopped at the top of Huff's road and saw only 3 or 4 huts out on Long Reach. I was surprised that there was so few. At HAy Bay there were some pop-ups near the Church and only one or two out towards Long Reach. Four ATVs headed out from Sherman's launch going westward.

I drove home in pretty heavy snowfall.

Thanks for sharing. I am planning on doing icefishing for the first time with two friends who have the gear but have not fished in this area. We will probably look at Sherman's, Huff's, and Hay Bay/Church. What is SSW?

Hello I was wondering do they charge to park at this launch and can you access the lake with a snowmobile if needed.
