Anyone have any intel on the access and fishing conditions at the mouth of the Trent river. I'm considering walking out with a "smitty sled"
and hoping i'm not wasting my time.

Access is not great there is a small spot to get onto the ice by the hockey arena. No access with a bike or sled really all the construction for the new docking is in the way and blocked off with fencing. I don't know about the ice thickness but there were lots of tracks from people going in and out. I would not go to close to the opposite side of the river where the other marina is I have heard they use bubblers around the docking. Not sure how true that is. Have a great time.
