well left Scarborough on Nov 4 heading to that great body of water called bay of Quinte. at about 8:00 am. usual stuff, Kim and i unload the boat ,set up dual manual planer rigger. and plate that holds my down riggers and rod holder, at the back of the boat. put the boat in at public launch. off to merland park. saw that the new deck was up at cottage ten. cool.
did not go fishing on Saturday ,but started Sunday. we got two walleye and one northern pike. Monday we got three walleye. on Tuesday big skunk arue, lol. Wednesday we end up with 6 walleye and one 12 pound sheep head. at the end of the day, the fog rolled in and you could not see five feet in front of us , thank god for g.p.s. on board. to get us back to merland park. Thursday was lure lost day. three bit off, or stale mates broken line. did not see what was on the end of the line. on our last day of fishing, which was Friday, we finish up with 4 walleye. smallest fish was 19 inches and the longest was 30 1/2 long. between 2.9 and 10.5 pounds. on reef runner's, Mann's stretch 20's Rapala deep diving crank baits. all different color's were working. on Friday night had our usual cj pizza and pack it up, on Saturday morning. ending our best Nov trip in the last couple of year's that we been coming up to bay of quinte. sad to say it time, to put her away for another season , but i be back again to try and beat that 13.2 from two years ago. 99% of the fish were caught between the ferry and the white light house on the south shore.
