Just a comment on the popular and sometimes crowded fishing conditions for the night walleye bite around Quinte . I am a Belleville resident and avid angler . Although I am more liken to bass fishing I have been enjoying the night bite for walleye for the last few weeks from shore, and with success . For the most part there are a great bunch of local anglers and non local anglers alike sharing the same passion . Of course some more experienced than others .I have only seen positive things if everyone just shares a little respect for each other and maybe share a little knowledge with someone not as knowledgeable as yourself and this could make the experience a little more pleasureable . Last evening a non resident angler fishing beside me caught a walleye I helped net it for him , we talked .. good fish bla bla bla. Later he netted my fish , thanx . It seems most guys are doing the same and lending a hand , really makes for better fishing . Sure there is always a exception to the rule but try to keep your patience and everyone has a good time . It is nice to see non residents also enjoying what this area has to offer and as local residents and anglers this is only bennificial to our community as the more money spent here the more our community contiues to improve our facilities for fishing .

Well put Bassdog and I can say from experience we all seem to want to help out. Its great to see a big fish even if it isnt your own. I love to watch the expression on the lucky dog that caught it. Its really neet to see that fantastic smile on someone . Fishing seems to do that .
