I enjoyed chatting with you guys. You had a great week both with fish and weather. I may contact you guys in the spring for a day jigging "driftwood" on the river down there. Yes I know not the same size but fun none the less. drop me a line before you come down next time. Take Care
Dan

Sound like you had a great week! What baits were you using, 39 fish is amazing. I've never heard of such numbers caught in this area (within a week), I'm assuming you were fishing in the Picton Bay area.

A week?

Thirty-nine is a memorable number for me and my dad - we caught 39 fish one night fishing in Picton Harbour back in the mid-to-late-90's. It was our Best Night Ever. We couldn't keep them off our lines for a while, and then suddenly it just stopped. We trolled round for another two hours trying to catch #40, but it never happened.

{sigh} Those were the days......

The last three nights I tried fishing in our same spots in Picton Harbour and nearby, we didn't catch a single fish!

However 39 fish in a week is still great fishing, so congrats, eh?

I was out with my Dad on Friday....not in the Bay but up the Moira River. Of course, the sizes aren't there in camparison to the Quinte but we ended up with 24 walleye and a great time.

Mallard,

It was great talking with you, I will be sure to hook-up with you the next time I am down fishing Erie or the Detroit river.

Glad you enjoyed your week on Quinte.
