I took the vex for a walk today up at Trenton and caught some some nice walleyes .They where small but are nice to see the ice at the mouth of the Trent river is around 6to 8 inches thick.The fish are hitting this morning on jig heads and and hopkins spoons in the 1/2 oz size .

Welcome back Dicky,

I'm taking my vex for a walk in the morning.
I don't have Vex envy anymore, My wife got
me an FL-18 with 9/19 degree transducer and
switch with onboard battery status the deluxe
charging unit. It even has zoom mode that
shows bottom 6 feet at the same time you view
the total water column. If the Vex catches me
half the fish you catch I will be happy. I've used
it once and am very impressed with it.

How's your FL-8 doing, or did you wife get you a
new FL-18?

Fishing has been very good from the latest reports I have been hearing. Infact in Deseronto they have been geeting some trophy size fish.

13 lb walleye would win most of the tournaments most of the time so they seem to be doing really well.

If you do go to that area I would be interested in what you find.

I took my vex for a walk last night on Hay Bay....he left a massive trail of turds up from Shermans Point as well.

Do you lads happen to work for Vexilar co.?
