I was just wondering if anyone had recommendation on a good place to stay during an ice fishing trip. I usually stay at my friends cabin in long reach during the hard water season, but since I don't have a share in my buddies cabin I need to rent one. I'm planning a trip with some friends and need a cabin for 6-8 guys. I was looking at the lodging area and see a lot of place are not open in the winter. Any help would be greatful. Thanks again, I'm looking forward to hard water!!!

You might try calling Barb and Jack Weese. They rent out their farm house to fishermen, at times. Not sure how big it is. Barb can help with meals if you negotiate it that way. The house is on the North Shore of Hay Bay.
1-613-354-2645 They used to own Perfect Vue years ago. They have water front land just across the road. The house is close to Perfect Vue. There is also a new bait, tackle and variety shop 2478 County Road 9 (River Road, Napanee). Dew Drop Inn 613-354-0008. Open every day, 6 a.m - 9 p.m.. Owned by Kelly and Greg Brooks.
