Quinte Fishing

Hey all,

We've decided to give the walleye a go tomorrow afternoon. Winds look to be 15k from the west which shouldn't be too bad. I think the plan is to launch at the ferry and give that area a shot. Any pointers on where to head once launched? Is this area still producing? Any other tips?

Hey wiggler,stay within a couple of kms past the ferry .follow the bait fish.In the evening move towards the cement plant and much later Picton harbour.If you did not purchase boards borrow them they really increase your chances .good luck and send some pics .Mike

Hit the water quite late because I was visiting my new niece.
Fished just east of the ferry. We didn't mark many and no bites. Fishing a bit shallow though.
Met Steve-Hamilton at the launch pulling out. They did well with one over 13lbs I think he said.
Lots of time left. No real cold days/nights forecast for 1.5 weeks.
